Saddlewood Book Club
The Saddlewood Book Club was formed in 2010 and usually meets on the third Wednesday of the month in the evening. Meetings are held at a member’s home or at the Saddlewood Estates park on the river. All Saddlewood Estates Owners Association members and guests are welcome to join. Saddlewood Non-Fiction Reading Group
The Saddlewood Non-Fiction (and Classics) Reading Group was founded in the fall of 2019. Our primary focus is to read and discuss nonfiction books of history, science or biography. We will occasionally throw in a fiction classic or any other nonfiction story of interest to our group. We avoid anything about current politics. We usually meet on a Tuesday evening, but do not have a set schedule. We only choose our next reading selection at the current meeting, when we also choose the next time to meet. (Our meetings are typically every month or every two months—depending upon the size of the book we are reading). Our meetings are typically held at a member’s home, but we are small enough to occasionally meet at local restaurants.
The attached reading list contains all of the books we have tackled since we began in 2019.
